Ante Šupuk – Sanjao je grad is the first episode of the 2014 HRT documentary series Velikani u sjeni, directed by Matea Šarić. The film portrays the life and visionary work of Ante Vitez Šupuk, the first democratically elected mayor of Šibenik, friend of Nikola Tesla, and the man who built Europe's first alternating-current hydroelectric power plant on the Krka River in 1895 - bringing public electric lighting to Šibenik before Vienna, London, Paris or Berlin.
I served as editor (montažer), shaping the narrative rhythm, historical continuity and emotional flow to honor Ante Šupuk's extraordinary legacy and deliver a powerful, respectful cinematic experience.
